Monthly Meetings: First Thursday of each month, except for January, at 7:30pm at the Unitarian Fellowship Building, 158 N. 4th Street, DeKalb, IL (Map) The meetings are free to the public. Refreshments are served after the meetings. View 2011 Calendar
Demonstrations: At the monthly meetings, an artist demonstrates his or her art. Artists have demonstrated woodcuts, watercolor, digital art, screen-printing, painting, color pencil, linocut, jewelry, glass bead-making, carving, framing, etc. The demonstrations are very informative and the demonstrators are eager to share their experiences.
Monthly Newsletter: The newsletter includes: dates, times and information for the next meeting, featured demonstrator, art league news, member news, letter from the president, and information on upcoming shows and exhibits. View Newsletters

Northern Illinois Art Show (NIAS): KVAL’s Northern Illinois Art Show is the quintessential hometown art show with a variety of media and plenty of foot traffic. This is the 40th anniversary of the show which is located in historic, downtown Sycamore, Illinois. The next show will be May 21 – 22, 2011 at the city lots of Somonauk & Elm Street in Sycamore.
Traveling Exhibits: DeKalb Clinic, Borders in DeKalb, Art at Ellwood in DeKalb, DeKalb Public Library, Sycamore Library, Sycamore Park Club House
Group Workshops: Different workshops are planned throughout the year for members to receive training from skilled artists on an art medium such as color pencil, watercolor, etc.
